So I am still looking forward to the Nintendo Revolution, even though it now has its official name, which isn’t Revolution, it’s “Wii.” (pronounced we) After the initial confusion as to how you pronounce it, my first thought was, Wii? (pronounced why) I mean the name just seems like an unwii (pronounced unwise) choice. What was so bad about Revolution? It seemed so much more powerful. How are people going to be able to play this system without feeling like a wiinie (pronounced weenie).
And when you buy games for it, how do you avoid getting into a “Who’s on first?” routine with the clerk at EB?
“Yeah, can I get a copy of this game for Wii?”
“Oh, you mean for you?”
“Yeah, for me.”
“Oh, ok. ’cause you said ‘we’.”
“right. Wii.”
